YOUR FAVOURITE SAPPHIRE COAST PHOTOGRAPHER – EST 2017
ABOUT THE photographer
My greatest drive is to simplify life, take it less seriously, find joy in everything, and spend my days doing what I love. For me, that means being outdoors, surrounding myself with the people I love, embracing creativity, and savoring good food. I strive to find moments in every day that make me think, “This was a real gem” or “I’m really going to remember this one.”
As a photographer, it basically means I can do what I love doing for a living
EST. 2017
Naturally Jek Photography was established in 2017, and it’s hard to believe how quickly the years have passed. Over that time, I’ve had the privilege of capturing stories across Tasmania, Queensland, and now New South Wales. There are so many incredible people and places in this beautiful country that have inspired my work.
During the pandemic, I created an adventurous elopement team, which included a celebrant, videographer, musician, florist, and myself. This team exceeded my wildest expectations, and I was fortunate to document so many unique love stories throughout this time.
In 2024, I co-hosted and co-created the Venture Folk Retreat alongside Carissa from Elk and Fur. We welcomed 15 photographers from around the country to be mentored and take part in three breathtaking styled photoshoots. If there were more hours in the day, I’d be mentoring all the time!
I’ve had the honor of capturing hundreds of weddings, adventurous elopements, family sessions, couples, maternity, and newborn shoots. It has been an exciting and passionate journey. However, after moving to the Far South Coast of NSW in early 2025, I’ve decided to shift my focus. My new goal is to immerse myself in maternity, intimate family, and couple photography. I want to slow things down and truly capture the simple, precious moments of life.
I married my person at 18. When you know, you know, and that was certainly true for us. Together, we created two wildlings. Our family lives a faith-led, homeschooling life, chasing waves, seeking the sun, and embracing the outdoors. We’re “earthy but surfy” with a love for both the bush and the beach.
I’m a true gypsy soul. I’ve attended 9 schools and moved 19 times. My childhood was full of unique experiences, shaped by missionary parents with wild hearts. From living in a remote Aboriginal community to traveling across the country in a horse-drawn wagon for nine months, to spending part of my youth in an African village—it was an unconventional, beautiful life. I lost my father in my youth which was a tragic growth experience and has definitely shaped my perspective on treasuring and documenting every moment possible
As an adult, I’ve explored many corners of this earth. I built and lived in a tiny house in Tasmania, forged lifelong connections, learned to honor myself, and found a faith that brings me peace and joy. Becoming a mother has been the most transformative part of my journey. I have a courageous son and an enchanting daughter with special needs—both of whom have shaped my story in ways I never imagined.
I feel incredibly blessed.
