I have this distinct memory of my own wedding where I saw my husband from across the reception room and started making my way to him. I desired nothing more than to be in his embrace as his new wife. As I made my way to him so many friends and family who flew in to celebrate our love wanted to catch my attention and chat. As lovely as that was, by the time I made it to the other side of the room, he was caught up in a different spot, also talking to our beloved guests. By the time we made it to the honeymoon sweet there was a sigh of relief to know that it was just him and I.
Don’t let this be your story. Let your wedding day be about YOU. Just you two.
Strip back all the traditions, the materialism, the complications of seating arrangements and etiquettes and just focusing on the things that truely matter to you. This is why I’m passionate about elopements.
ELOPEMENTS ARE YOUR LOVE STORY BEING TOLD—THERE’S NO NEED TO RUSH THAT. Trust me, if you’re planning a surreal, adventurous elopement in your dream location that’s totally in line with everything you want, it’s not difficult for this to fill a whole day—or even two! Think about the best day you two could have together—don’t spare any details. Think about what you’d want to do from the moment you wake up, to the moment you go to bed. What would you eat? Where would you be? What scenery is surrounding you? What adventure would you take together?
THE ANSWER TO THESE QUESTIONS IS EXACTLY WHAT YOUR ELOPEMENT SHOULD AND CAN LOOK LIKE!
More often than not, the adventures you create on your elopement day exceed a 3-hour photoshoot. This is why I offer larger elopement photography packages.
All day experiences.
This is your big, amazing, once-in-a-lifetime day that you’re going to look back on forever. It’s your anniversary date that you’ll re-live every year—shouldn’t this be a day that you want to constantly remember because every single moment was perfect?
This is entirely about you - to enjoy and to relish in. While I fade into the background capturing the moments for you so that you will never forget them.
